Missions
Here at Regency Baptist Temple, we love missions. We believe that God has given the command to go to all the world with the Gospel. As a church we give through Faith Promise Giving which allows us to support 67 missionaries. Three of those missionaries are sent out of our church and are serving in Taiwan, France, and Spain.
Soul-winning
Part of that command to go into all the world with the Gospel includes us reaching those around us. We believe it is important to be involved in inviting others and telling them about Jesus Christ. We go out various times a month to witness to others about God’s love for them, as well, as, invite them to our church.
Children
At RBT, we consider it a blessing to hear the laughter of kids and crying of babies because we know that Jesus loves little children and because we believe that kids are important. We have nursery and classes available for kids of all ages.
NURSERY – Available during all services and Sunday school.
KIDS – We have classes for all kids during Sunday school, the Sunday morning service, and the Wednesday evening service. Sunday evenings, children are encouraged to sit with their families in the main service.
Youth Ministry
The youth ministry at RBT helps students from Jr. High to High School grow in their walk with the Lord. Clayton and Brandy Johnson are our youth leaders and do a wonderful job with the teenagers. We like to say around here that our youth ministry exists for the purpose of C3
- Connecting with God
- Connecting to the Church and
- Connecting with the Lost.
We have exciting activities every month for our youth; we also go to youth rallies at other churches so that the teenagers can enjoy Christian fellowship with other people their age.
Our most important times are when Bro. Clayton opens God’s Word and challenges our young people in their walk with the Lord, both on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and during our Wednesday evening service.
Adults
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL – Just starting college or almost retired, you might want to give our class a try. It meets during the Sunday school hour at 9:30. This class has an in depth, yet practical look at God’s Word. This is our main adult Sunday school class. Breakfast is served every Sunday morning in this class.
SENIOR SUNDAY SCHOOL – We also have a Sunday school class for our senior citizens that also gets encouraged through God’s Word during the 9:30 hour. They meet in the main auditorium.
MEN & LADIES – For the ladies, we have monthly Bible studies and attend an annual ladies’ meeting. For the men, we meet to pray together twice a month and also attend a men’s conference.
